Dancin' Motion have sponsored 3 children from Uganda though Forever Foundation since January 2020. Our monthly sponsorship pays for schooling, medical bills & food. We receive videos, photos & letters from our sponsored children and we get weekly updates from Clare the Founder of Forever Foundation Uk, and her amazing team of volunteers.
The children we sponsor are vulnerable young children, who without our support and sponsorship wouldn't be able eat a meal each day let alone attend a school/apprenticeship programme to enable them to become self sufficient young adults.
We send the children parcels every couple of months containing clothes, medical supplies, books, paper & pens, toys, letters & photos! We also pay a little extra at Christmas (for a yummy x-mas dinner) and a Birthday party for the children and their friends on their special day!
These are only small things we can do in hope that the children have a better quality of life and these small acts of kindness will enable our sponsored children to thrive as young adults and become happy and healthy in years to come!
We've purchased a house with a plot of land and enough space for growing crops for our Sponsorship family Mathias & Gloria. The roof of the house will need to be erected, but once this is done the family will be able to move in with no financial worries and a home they can live in for years to come. Gloria & Mathias's mother will be able to grow and hopefully sell crops and earn a small income for their family!
Mathias (14) is an amazing young man who lives with his Mum and 4 sisters (Gloria, next photo) We sponsor Mathias so he can attend a 'mechanics' apprenticeship programme. He works on motorbikes and cars and we hope he can gain enough experience to enable him to find a job to become self sufficient as he approaches adulthood. His sponsorship also covers food and medical costs.
Gloria (14) has an infectious smile and her letters, videos and photos are enough to brighten anyones day! We sponsor Gloria so she can attend school where she has learnt to read and write. Her sponsorship also covers food and medical costs. We hope Gloria can gain enough knowledge to help her find a well paid job in a safe environment where she'll be treated fairly and equally as a young woman.
Babra (11) is a quiet, strong and courageous young girl. Babra lives with her elderly Grandma who is blind, she cares for her alone with no parents. Her sponsorship covers her schooling, food & medical costs.
