Aerial Hoop

We are so excited to offer Aerial Hoop classes at Dancin' Motion Studios from January 2024

Aerial hoop (also known as lyra) is great for several reasons!

1. Full-Body Workout

It strengthens your core, arms, shoulders, and legs while improving flexibility. Every move requires balance and coordination, making it a killer workout.

2. Builds Strength and Endurance

Lifting and holding yourself in different poses improves muscular endurance and grip strength over time.

3. Boosts Flexibility and Mobility

You’ll naturally become more flexible as you work on dynamic movements, backbends, and splits in the hoop.

4. Improves Coordination and Balance

Since you’re constantly adjusting your body in the air, aerial hoop enhances body awareness and balance.

5. Creative and Expressive

It’s not just about fitness—it’s an art form! You can blend dance, acrobatics, and storytelling into performances.

6. Builds Confidence

Learning new tricks and overcoming fears (like going upside down!) boosts self-esteem and mental resilience.

7. Fun and Addictive

Once you start, it’s hard to stop! The thrill of defying gravity keeps people coming back for more.
